Everyone has heard the phrase "He's on his soapbox again..."

Merriam-Webster Dictionary defines this word as: "an improvised platform used by a self-appointed, spontaneous, or informal orator; broadly : something that provides an outlet for delivering opinions".

Once upon a time, soap (the stuff we all wash with, hopefully) came in big 'ol boxes. Darn near crates.  They were real common in fact.  They were also big enough and sturdy enough to stand on, and they were.  Any time there was a public gathering, the person who was speaking would get up on the soapbox to better be heard, as he stood slightly over the crowd.

Well, looking over my website recently, I realized I hadn't really given myself a place to editorialize.  Granted, this being a personal website, it is ALL my own thoughts.  For the most part, however, I have tried to organize those thoughts, and remain as objective as possible.  But sometimes, I just gotta vent.  Guess what?  This is where I'm gonna do it.  To the left, under the word Soapbox you'll see a list.  These are the individual rants. Look em over, or not.  But I feel better having gotten it out of my system.

I don't expect everyone to agree with me.  But that's why I created a forum on ezboard, isn't it?  So that everyone could have their say.  Go ahead and read my rants, then go write a few of your own.  It'll make you feel better.  I know it helps me.
